Travel has been a lifelong passion of mine, and over the years I have explored much of the world in many different ways. I began with years of backpacking in my younger days, later travelling extensively as a family with my husband and our two children. Today my husband and I enjoy exploring together, seeking out destinations beyond the main tourist routes, often hiking, cycling and discovering places at a slower pace.

Having experienced travel through different stages of life, I use this firsthand knowledge to provide honest, practical and realistic advice, helping travellers confidently plan memorable and well-balanced journeys.

My Areas of Expertise

I have travelled widely throughout Europe, Asia, North America and Africa, with particularly extensive experience in the Balkans — including Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro and Albania — as well as Vietnam. Through repeated visits and deeper exploration of these destinations, I have developed a strong understanding of both the iconic highlights and the lesser-known places that reveal the true character of each country.

I know the must-see places, the hidden gems worth discovering, and the most rewarding routes for exploring each destination. Drawing on proven itineraries and firsthand experience, I can recommend how long to spend in each location and how best to structure a journey so travellers experience the highlights without feeling rushed.

My Specialties

I specialise in creating personalised itineraries for couples, families and groups who want to experience multiple regions within a country without the stress of planning complex logistics. I understand when it is best to travel by train rather than plane, helping travellers enjoy scenic journeys and efficient connections between destinations. I focus on designing journeys that are well paced, practical and tailored to each traveller’s interests, whether that includes outdoor activities, cultural experiences, scenic landscapes or time to simply enjoy each destination.

I also design bespoke golf itineraries throughout Vietnam and New Zealand’s South Island, pairing exceptional courses with outstanding travel experiences. These trips combine world-class golf with carefully planned travel, accommodation and local experiences so golfers can enjoy both the courses and the destinations they visit.
